Create your own Manchester bee sundial using the cold batik technique under the guidance of visual artist and facilitator Elena McClaren. All levels of artist are welcome and no previous experience is necessary. The workshop is a warm and friendly environment, designed to help anyone and everyone enjoy being creative.

This technique involves brushing cold wax onto fabric and using dyes to create particularly striking and colourful designs. All materials will be provided and refreshments will be available to buy from the bar during the workshop break.

This workshop is part of the art gallery’s wider programme of ways to get directly involve with art.
