If you’re looking for a sophisticated day out the whole family can enjoy, look no further than Afternoon Tea at Blackpool Tower Ballroom. This iconic 19th-century venue is known for its ornate architecture, sprung dance floor and rich history, making it the perfect place to indulge in one of Britain’s favourite pastimes: Afternoon Tea.

Blackpool Tower Ballroom’s dedicated waiters offer a great selection of nibbles to hungry guests. Sandwiches include ham salad and cheese & caramelised onion chutney, which are served alongside fruit scones, cream and jam. Oh, and there are a few extra sweet treats too; think macaroons, raspberry cheesecake, and some chocolate brownies thrown in for good measure.

Guests will also receive a pot of freshly brewed tea or coffee to wash everything down. If you want to celebrate a special occasion in style, you can upgrade your Afternoon Tea experience with some champagne. Just make sure you notify the venue of any dietary requirements at least five days before you visit.

But it’s not just about the food here. It’s about ambience too. With beautifully decorated ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, a stunning sprung dance floor (good enough for the stars of Strictly Come Dancing) and lavish balconies, there’s a whole lot to admire. You can also enjoy the live music from the mighty Wurlitzer, provided by Blackpool Tower Ballroom’s talented team of organists. Watch the dancers from the safety of your table, or join in yourself if you’re feeling brave.

Whether you want to get together with the family or take your partner for a spin around the dance floor, Afternoon Tea at Blackpool Tower Ballroom is the place to visit. With elegance, charm and some great food, you really can’t go wrong.

The Afternoon Tea experience includes all-day admission to Blackpool Tower Ballroom. If you’re bringing little ones with you, buggies can be stored on the ground floor.
