Christmas Craftivism - Earring Making Workshop at The Pankhurst Centre, Manchester 5 December 2024 Tickets from £20.00 — Book now

Craft has been a main tool of activism for gender minorities for centuries. Its soft power has the ability to bring people together politically and socially. What better way to enter into the festive spirit than with a bit of Christmas Craftivism.

Join the Pankhurst Museum for an exploration of the Victorian fascination with attaching specific meaning to colour. You’ll make two pairs of colourful earrings with a sense of heightened understanding behind their colourful significance. As the workshop is a festive crafting experience, you’ll enjoy mulled wine and mince pies whilst you craft, learn and chat away to likeminded feminists.
