A Grand Day Out at The National Science and Media Museum
Tom Grieve, Cinema EditorTo celebrate their big reopening this January, The National Science and Media Museum have partnered up with one of Britain’s great institutions: Aardman Animations! Families, film fans and animation nuts alike are invited to A Grand Day Out on Saturday 11 January, featuring a series of screenings of Aardman films, model making workshops and much more.
There will be showings of Wallace and Gromit’s adventures, where audiences can witness the beloved pair grab a slice of moon cheese, open a bakery and face off against the likes of Shaun the Sheep and Feathers McGraw. Look out for everything from A Matter of Loaf and Death and A Close Shave to The Wrong Trousers and A Grand Day Out, before a chance to see the latest Wallace and Gromit film Vengeance Most Fowl on the big screen.
The reopening of the museum sees the return of visitor favourites such as interactive gallery Wonderlab and the Kodak photography gallery, as well as a brand-new foyer space, redesigned shop and Media Café, and an additional passenger lift.
