The Kings Arms

Creative Tourist
The King's Arms pub in Salford.
David Dixon

The Kings Arms is a cultural hub, just off Chapel Street in Salford, which offers great real ale and hearty pub food. The main bar is cosy and comfortable with trusty original pub furnishings. Off to the side is the snug complete with a piano for those capable of conducting a pub knees up, and a knitting club regularly meets here, too. Upstairs is a function room, host to theatre, comedy and music. Above that, on the top floor, eking out the last bit of space from the building, is the home of the excellent Studio Salford theatre company .

Outside the beer garden / back yard, provides ramshackle furniture and a lively atmosphere that attracts Salfordians by the dozen. The pub had a starring role in the Channel 4 comedy, Fresh Meat and for a few years was owned by musician Paul Heaton of The Housemartins / Beautiful South. Your patronage is highly recommended by us.
