The Corn Exchange

Creative Tourist

This Grade II-listed, 19th century building was once full of small, independent retailers. The 1996 IRA bomb changed all that; the building closed and the original retailers shifted elsewhere. It was then turned into a glossy shopping mall and re-branded The Triangle. This high class reinvention never quite stuck. Rebranded as The Corn Exchange, it has now been transformed into a “food destination” housing restaurants such as Banyan Bar & Kitchen and Salvi’s Mozzarella Bar.
