FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) is Liverpool’s go-to destination for art, film, and all things creatively techy. Inside, three galleries showcase everything from emerging talent to established names, often exploring themes like artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and social justice. Many exhibitions are free to enter, so you can wander in, soak up something new, and even try your hand at interactive installations. FACT also runs a Studio/Lab programme, giving artists and young creatives space to experiment, develop their skills, and test ideas in a professional environment.

The cinema, Picturehouse at FACT, is just as exciting. When you need a break from all that culture, FACT has you covered. There’s a bright café on the ground floor serving coffee and lunches, and a bar upstairs for drinks before or after your film.
