Corridor Bar

Susie Stubbs
Corridor bar in Salford

Hard to find, stuffed down a back alley off Manchester’s Chapel Street, this “secret” drinking den has some serious mixology going on behind its unmarked door. Corridor majors on cocktails, as its menu proves: over 40 cocktails grace is changing cocktail list, from well-known classics to drinks with a twist. The interior is pared back with small booths and low, industrial lighting setting the suitably after-dark atmosphere, and the place has won all manner of awards and accolades; most recently, it was included in the Wallpaper* guide to Manchester. There are imported beers, good quality wines, a daily happy hour and freshly-squeezed juices on offer, too – a drinking den for those with refined tastes. Corridor Bar has now closed – and reopened as Under New Management.
