Who doesn’t love afternoon tea? Sipping from little teacups while enjoying a fresh sandwich or crumbling sweet treat. Richmond Tea Rooms has you covered. Having moved a little further along Sackville Street, the venue now comes with the perfect view of Sackville Gardens.
Also, why spend the afternoon in a normal coffee shop when you can immerse yourself in the Richmond Tea Rooms award winning Alice in Wonderland themed dining experience. Now doesn’t that sound like more fun?

Everything served has been individually made, by hand, in house, by a team of flavour and filling passionate chefs. There are several tea options, with menus designed to serve the minimalist (Alice’s: two tea and a cream scone, £11.00) as well as the maximalist (Wonderland Champagne: cakes, sandwiches, scones with cream, tea and champagne at £39.90).
All scones are accompanied with Tiptree preserves, and there’s an unusually wide selection of teas going, from Ceylon to Lotus Rose. One for the serious tea drinkers among us.

Not a fan of Afternoon Tea? Not a problem. Richmond Tea Rooms serves up; all your breakfast favourites, light lunches/ salads and sandwiches, an array of those sweet treats I mentioned earlier (like cakes, milkshakes and even ice cream sundaes) and drinks – all the drinks.
Serving up cocktails, wines, beers, ciders and spirits, this venue is not as innocent as it seems. In fact, it could quite well be the opposite. At least once a month, Richmond Tea Room holds an 18+ only event centred around a Mad Hatter Tea Party or a High Tease Burlesque show.
